About My Vintage Market

Upcycled furniture, buy vintage furniture, sell vintage furniture, mid-century modern, antique furniture,

My Vintage Market is an independent vintage and antique business specialising in carefully curated furniture, decorative pieces and one-off finds.

I source pieces with character, restore and transform them where needed, and give them a new lease of life — ready to be loved for many years to come.

Whether you’re looking for that perfect piece for your home, have a much-loved item in need of restoration, or are searching for something specific for a project, I can help you find, restore or create something truly individual.

Hello, I’m Louise

My Vintage Market began from a love of beautiful vintage pieces and the stories behind them. I started the business, off the back of my decluttering and house clearance business, Trade My Clutter. Much of my work involved vintage and antique furniture, collectables and decorative pieces, which ignited my passion for vintage and retro design.

As a child I was always drawing and creating and was happiest with a paintbrush in my hand. I eventually dusted off that creative side and began refurbishing furniture as a sideline. In 2019, I decided to combine my hobby with my business and My Vintage Market was born.

Over the years I’ve developed an eye for finding pieces with great design, quality and potential, including those that may have been overlooked by others. I don’t simply give something a quick polish and put it back on the market. I carefully select each piece and, where needed, restore or transform it while respecting its original character, craftsmanship and design.

Sustainability & Second Chances

Sustainability is at the heart of what I do. I believe in giving good furniture the respect it deserves, preserving its history and finding ways to keep beautiful, useful pieces in circulation rather than seeing them go to waste. Together with Trade My Clutter, I offer a complete service from sorting and decluttering through to selling, restoring and rehoming treasured possessions. I understand that clearing a home is rarely just about emptying cupboards and belongings can carry memories and deep emotional value.

Over the years I’ve worked with individuals, businesses and charities, and have supplied pieces for film and theatre sets, interior designers, dignitaries and even furnished a French châteaux. I also offer a trade service for creative businesses and professionals looking for distinctive pieces for projects and specific briefs.

I love discovering the stories behind vintage items, meeting interesting people and, most of all, seeing my pieces begin their next chapter in their new homes.

Thank you for reading, I look forward to hearing from you.
