Gorgeous antique storage box/blanket box/toy box
Solid pine with iron handles and lift up lid
70cm wide x 40cm deep x 37cm high.
Height with lid open 75cm
Has been refurbished without losing its beautiful naturally distressed appearance.
Has been painted in a stone colour with the original nicks showing through.
The top has been stripped back and white washed to highlight it’s grain and weathering.
The iron handles have been finished in bronze
The whole piece has been waxed and polish for protection and a subtle sheen finish.
The inside has writing dating back to the 1970s from it’s previous owners. I think this is a lovely touch and adds to the history, so have left this visible.
