Beautiful long sideboard credenza in solid oak
Circa 1910s/20s in Jacobean style
Stunning distressed finish top with carved moulded edge
Single drawer to the centre flanked either side by a cupboard
The drawer, side pillars and trims have stunning intricate carved detail, including unusual carved faces on the two outer pillars.
The sideboard is raised on block feet and joined by a pot board with bold carved bulbous supports.
175cm wide x 87.5cm high x 45cm deep
Height of pot board 28cm
There are some small marks and minor damage commensurate with age. The are two small chips on the top right edge and a piece of wood missing from the pot board, behind the back leg. There are a couple of scuffs and a small cup mark on the top. There is a split in the wood on the front right support and top right cupboard door. All these defects are detailed in the photos.
Otherwise an absolutely stunning antique piece in beautiful condition. Very heavy and sturdy. Would make a stunning focus point in any traditional or contemporary room. This piece definitely has the wow factor.
