Stunning one-of-a-kind mid century artists/architects plan chest.
Made from solid teak, this chest was previously sourced in the 1960s from the ICI drawing office in Welwyn Garden City. Since then it lived in an artists studio.

Its history and wear has given it personality, so I have restored it sympathetically, careful to retain this character

Made from solid oak, it comprises three deep plan drawers, two lockable filing drawers, a single lockable stationary drawer and two open sections. It retains the original brass cup handles and number plate. I have cleaned, rubbed it down and oiled and polished to give it a new lease of life. There are marks and imperfection commensurate with age and use, but this adds to its charm. It comes with the original key.

This versatile piece would be fantastic for an architect or artist, a shop interior or even as an attractive and unique kitchen island.
