Beautiful mid century double bookcase/modular wall unit by G Plan
From the ‘Form 5’ range, late 1960s
Sleek and stylish teak piece comprising the following;
Two door cupboard at the top with a removable shelf, two adjustable shelves and two small drawers
A second top unit with open shelves
These sit on a double base unit with two sliding doors
153cm/5ft wide x 46cm deep x 199cm high
Top section depth 27cm
Top section width 76cm
Base section height 49cm
Stunning retro piece which would add style to a contemporary setting or a stylish addition to a home office
Has been rubbed down, oiled and polished.
Please be aware that the top units have warped a little over time, but have been repaired. As a result when they are not attached to the base unit they are wobbly, they are also slightly wobbly when attached. I suggest when installed, they are screwed to the wall to stabilise. They have been glued and nailed but care needs to be taken during transport. As a result there is a small gap where some of the shelves meet the side panels and there are small nails on the outside of the side panels, see photos.
Due to its age there are some small marks as to be expected and minor sun fading on the left side panel. There is a repair on the front of the base unit and on the right door handle, see photos.
Has been priced to account for these defects.
