Stunning refurbished 1930s Art Deco bureau cabinet
The pull down writing section sits above a single drawer over a cupboard
The writing section contains several compartments (internal drawer and key are missing).
Carved detail, reeded pillars and an undulating bottom panel ooze Art Deco design features.
The carved wooden handles add interest as do the large onion legs set on plinth feet.
The cupboard and drawer is angled in the opposite direction to side pillars, a striking design typical of the era.
Finished in a rich oak veneer.
It has been refurbished with and oil and polish and gold has been added to the carved details to accent them. The inside of the drawer has been waxed with a handmade natural wax infused with essential oils making it smell fantastic.
