This gorgeous Edwardian nursing chair has been transformed with the help of a beautiful Abraham Moon & Sons 100% wool check. Grey with purple, blue, green and burnt orange accents. Solid oak frame Why so low you ask? Well in In Edwardian times the nursing chair was a low seated partially upholstered chair. Nursing included caring for children as well as feeding. The low seat of the chair allowed the mother, who would have been wearing a stiff corset, to interact with small children without bending over. Dimensions: 51cm wide x 52cm deep x 73cm high Seat height 34cm Fabric Information: Fully complies with UK Fire Regulations.
